Angie Thompson was born in Albany, Georgia in 1976. She graduated from Westover High in 1994. Angie attended Mercer University, graduating with a Bachelors in Business Computer Information Systems. Angie went on to obtain her Masters from Valdosta State University in Social Work, and is currently working on her doctorate. She is a LMSW and has over 18 years experience in the social work field.
Angie is currently employed as the Director of Henry County DFCS. She has previously served as the program director for Region 10 DFCS, as well as supervised foster care, investigations, and family preservation. Angie is also the current president of the Georgia Professional Human Services Association.
Angie resides in Henry and joined PCAHC in 2017.
